The most amazing thing about Billabong story is just how humble its beginnings were we were litterally cutting out boardshorts on the kitchen table, trying to cobble together a living that allowed maximum surf time. We never had any thoughts of the kind of company it has grown is the number of surfers and other people Billabong now provides a livelihood for Billabong international Employs over 1000 people wolrldwide and indirectly helps support many more from photographers to film makers, suppliers and contractors.

All the people that Billabong has employed over the years have really been the foundation of the company's success: We have been blessed to have a lot of really excellent people put their energy into it you can't build a company by yourself, people are the foundation.
